VAC Hanoi
Dream Sight: Group Exhibition by Visually-Impaired Children
Organized by Hope For Future (HFF)
Made possible by the Vietnam Art Collection (VAC)
The paintings featured in this exhibition represent the responses of visually impaired children to the seemingly simple question, "What do you dream of seeing?”. Among them, one child envisions themselves exploring the vastness of the universe, while another longs for a typical classroom, and another envisions the house where he’s living and his own family members. Additionally, one child imagines visiting the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, which seems very ordinary for the majority. These artworks collectively help us see into these children's unique dreams and aspirations, reminding us to cherish the wonders surrounding us daily.
Come and see. Glimpse the sights these kids yearn to perceive if their eyesight were enhanced, highlighting their resilience, creativity, and boundless potential.
HFF is a dedicated social project focused on the psychological development of visually impaired children. We are deeply honored to be part of this project and provide our resources to make this exhibition possible. This collaboration holds immense significance as it unites VAC as an art organization with a resolute mission to make meaningful social impacts and a volunteer project committed to raising awareness and supporting people in need. Together, VAC and HFF are poised to showcase the transformative power of art in fostering empathy, understanding, and inclusivity.
