Minh Duc Pham: I send you my love
7 Aug - 6 Sep, 2026
Residency Program
VAC Hanoi

Vietnam Art Collection (VAC) is delighted to present 'I send you my love', the Open Studio of our Summer 2026 Hanoi Residency artist Minh Duc Pham.
Developed over the course of his residency in Hanoi, 'I send you my love' brings together newly developed works shaped through observation, conversation, and material experimentation. The Open Studio offers an opportunity to encounter a practice in motion, where sculpture, installation, and spatial interventions reveal an ongoing process of artistic inquiry. Visitors are warmly invited to spend time with the works and experience the relationships that emerge between objects, gestures, and lived experience.
About the artist: Minh Duc Pham (b.1991) is a Berlin-based artist whose practice emerges from artistic research on labor migration, memory and body politics. Through sculpture, installation and performative interventions, he examines how social norms and regimes of care and control materialise in objects, textiles, and everyday gestures. Floral motifs, industrial references and fragile display structures recur as carriers of ambivalence between tenderness and resistance, preservation and erasure. By intertwining archival material with speculative narration, Pham opens spaces in which shared histories can be re-read and renegotiated. His work has been shown at Haus der Kulturen der Welt Berlin, Kunsthalle Osnabrück and the Museum der bildenden Künste Leipzig.
