Mr.Bambii (b. 1993) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Saigon, Vietnam. Originally a poet, he turned to performance art as a decision to live out the body of his poetry. During the following years of his career, Mr.Bambii settled into sculpting as a new platform to fully landscape his emotive, imaginary, poetic body.

Wax is Mr.Bambii’s foundational matter. A material that began as a solid substance, after meeting up with fire, would melt into liquid just to grow firm again after being greeted by air. This de-reconstruction process, to him, is an obvious portrayal of both femininity and masculinity, combined into one.
